Life’s not fair. Probably all of us have said those words at one time or another. But we’re really only concerned with fairness when we don’t get our way. When we get the promotion, when we get the house, when we get into the college we wanted, we’re not concerned about the people who didn’t. The reality is that life isn’t even. It’s not always fair. The unfairness of life can quickly become an excuse for irresponsibility. No matter what opportunities are given to us, God expects us to be faithful with them.
