Why We Give
When you tithe, you are trusting God with your finances.
God calls you to give Him your first and best. Giving is a way to worship God by showing Him that we trust His Word. A tithe – literally translated “tenth” – means to give back to God the first 10 percent of your income. By giving the first portion of your income back to God, you are showing that He comes first in your life. It's a way to protect your heart from greed and also reminds you God is the supplier of everything you have.
“Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house. Test me in this,” says the Lord Almighty, “and see if I will not throw open the floodgates of heaven and pour out so much blessing that there will not be room enough to store it.” Malachi 3:10 NIV
Your giving directly impacts lives in our community and around the world.
When you give to the mission of Bedford Alliance Church, you are helping to create disciples who live out their God-given calling and invest in others to do the same. The local church is God's Plan A to fulfill Jesus' final command to "go and make disciples of all nations." Matthew 28:19. Through giving, God has given you the opportunity to make a difference in our community, country, and world for Him. We invite you to be a difference maker by giving to our ministries. It has an eternal impact.
Our Funds
Where does your money go when you give?
When you give, you may notice there are three main funds you can choose to give toward. What is each fund used for?
General Fund: The general fund is our main fund where a majority of expenses are paid from. This includes utility bills, ministry needs, equipment, and staff-related expenses.
Building Fund: The building fund is used for construction projects and other building maintenance.
Missions Fund: The missions fund, also known as the Great Comission Fund (GCF), goes directly to worldwide missions through our denomination.
