Our Purpose

We want to help you as the next generation of believers understand your identity through a biblical worldview as God’s image bearers and discover your own personal God-given calling.

Life is full of big decisions, especially as you approach adulthood. BAC NextGen is here to support young adults (grade 11 – age 26) as you navigate these important transitions. Whether you’re preparing to enter college, in college, or starting a career, NextGen is a place to grow in your faith, understand your God-given identity, and discover your personal calling.

What makes NextGen Unique

  • Biblical worldview: Learn how God’s Word applies to everyday life, decisions, and challenges.
  • Community: Build authentic relationships with peers who are in a similar stage of life and who want to see you thrive.
  • Purpose: Identify and name your unique God-given calling and discover how your passions and talents align with God’s plan for your life.

NextGen gathering will feature opportunities for teaching and discussion tailored to the challenges young adults face. This is a space where you can explore your own faith, ask hard questions, and be equipped for what’s next in your life.

Core Values

  1. We want to create a safe environment where the next generation can find community.
  2. We want the next generation to develop, name, and create a plan to live out their own personal calling.
  3. We want to train and develop the next generation of disciple makers and church leaders.

NextGen is led by our Student Pastor, Brayden Wright.
Grades 11 and 12 were previously part of BAC Student Ministry, which was for grades 6-12. However, we noticed that as older students gained freedom through a driver’s license and began thinking about the next phase of life, they no longer related to younger students. Many high school juniors and seniors dual enroll and are already taking college courses. As high school students approach graduation, their focus shifts from high school topics to young adult topics, such as, “What do I want to do for the rest of my life? What should my major be? Where should I go to college? Should I go to college? Should I get a job? Is my faith my own or do I go because of my parents?” These questions and more are questions our young adults were already asking, so we decided to add high school juniors and seniors to the group as they are all in a similar stage of life. BAC Students is now for grades 6-10.
