Most of us want to be happy, and society today tells us that happiness should be our ultimate goal. Happiness becomes the standard by which we judge our actions. God tells us to be holy. But does holiness mean we’re going to be miserable? If we believe holiness destines us to a life of boredom and misery, we have a wrong understanding of happiness and holiness.
