Pride can be called the gateway sin. The root of pride is the worship of self rather than God, and it blinds you to your own faults. Pride leads you down a path of arrogance and self-destruction. It’s better for pride to be destroyed in your life before pride destroys your life. In Daniel 4, we learn about humbling a prideful heart from the fall of King Nebuchadnezzar and how our lowest point can be our turning point.
