BAC Kids is the children’s ministry at Bedford Alliance. Every Sunday during both of our services, infants through 5th grade can experience safe, age-appropriate learning environments.

The Bible is taught in a fun and creative way that helps kids learn how to make wiser choices, build stronger relationships, and develop deeper faith.

Learn how kids can stay plugged in at home.

Your first visit

When you arrive at Bedford Alliance, you’ll want to take your kids to our check-in area (view map). We have friendly volunteers who will get you registered. Because we want to serve you well, we’ll need to know some information about you and your children, such as contact information, birth dates, and allergies.

Your kids will receive a printed name tag containing a unique code. You will receive a matching tag with that same code so only you can pick up your child.

Special Environments

Family Room

Parents who need a quiet area for infants or moms needing to breastfeed are welcome to use our Family Room. It is located on the South Side of our foyer (view map). There you can care for your child’s needs while still viewing the service in a private environment.

Special Needs

We believe everyone deserves to hear about Jesus! At BAC Kids, we want to make sure that children with special needs are met on their level. If you have a child with special needs, we’d love to speak with you about how we can help them thrive at BAC Kids.

Good to Know

What to Wear

BAC Kids is a fun and active environment. Kids participate in physical activities such as jumping and dancing, as well as craft projects. Casual play clothes are welcome!

If You’re Needed

If your child needs you during service, you’ll see the code from your child’s tag appear at the bottom of the main screens in our sanctuary. Head toward Kidcity and a security volunteer will meet you to take you to your child’s classroom.

Partnering with Parents

We believe that what happens at home has the greatest impact on your children. That’s why we want to partner with parents to help make a difference that will last a lifetime.

On the ride home, we encourage you to ask your kids two questions:

Did you have fun today?
What did you learn?

These simple questions can spark conversations that impact them for eternity.

What We Value

Creative Biblical Teaching

We believe the Bible is an exciting book and our teaching should reflect that! We bring the Bible to life through videos, activities, and conversations that keep your kids engaged.

Safety is our priority, which means we take steps to keep your kids safe before they ever get there. Rooms and toys are cleaned and sanitized, and all volunteers are screened through a background check. We have security volunteers in place to monitor classrooms and security cameras, and all the doors to the classrooms are locked once service begins. Our volunteers are trained not to release kids to adults without a matching parent tag, so your child can only be picked up by you.

We want to be a church the next generation loves to attend. Part of that is making sure church is fun for your kids. Between funny videos, singing, games, and crafts, we have created an environment that teaches kids about Jesus and the Bible while keeping them entertained. We want your kids to want to come to church!

After checking-in, kids go to their classrooms where they will participate in some fun activities. Once service begins, kids will head to big group time for the lesson. After the lesson, kids go back to their classrooms for life application with their small group leader.

View our map to see the classrooms.

Parking that is closest to our check-in area is on the North Side of our building. Look for the sign on the sidewalk that says “Kidcity Entrance.”

You’ll first want to visit our check-in area to get your kids a name badge and parent tag. After being checked-in, you can take your kids to their classroom. Our volunteers will be happy to show you the correct classroom for your child based on their age or grade.

Yes, all volunteers working with kids have passed a background check.

If your child has visible signs of illness (fever, runny nose, cough), we ask that you do not bring them to BAC Kids. We don’t want to risk the chance of infecting others!
