BAC Kids are taking a trip to Frankenmuth! Kids who’ve just completed grades 4 and 5 are invited to join us on a day trip to an aerial park and a water park. We’ll take a charter bus from the church, with our first stop being Frankenmuth Aerial Park.
An aerial park is a combination of ladders, bridges, climbing elements, and zip lines through acres of woods. The kids will climb from platform to platform through different courses and then zip line to the next set of elements. Parents/guardians will need to sign a separate waiver for the aerial park, which will be sent as a link in the confirmation email. The aerial park also requires participants to wear athletic closed-toe shoes (sneakers), and chin-length hair must be tied back.
Once we’re done with the course, we’ll eat lunch in the park’s picnic area. We ask that your child please bring a packed lunch. We’ll have coolers to store the lunches until it’s time to eat.
After the aerial park, we’ll head to Bavarian Blast Indoor Waterpark. Bavarian Blast is Michigan’s newest and biggest indoor waterpark, featuring several fun water activities. The park includes 16 new waterslides, a lazy river, a wave pool, and more! Kids should pack a swimsuit and a towel for the water park. A dinner of pizza, cookies, and pop will be provided at the water park. Parents/guardians will need to sign a separate waiver for the water park, which will be sent as a link in the confirmation email.
For this Frankenmuth Day Trip, we’ll meet in the church parking lot at 8:30 am on Thursday, June 25, with the bus leaving at 9 am. We should arrive back at the church by 10 pm. The cost for the Day Trip is $75 per child. Register today, and don’t miss this awesome one-day adventure!
What to Bring, Wear, and Leave
- Wear comfortable clothes
- Wear or bring athletic closed-toe shoes (required for participation at the aerial park; heels, flip flops, sandals, crocs, etc. are not permitted on the ropes courses)
- Wear hair tied back or bring a hair tie (hair below chin-length is required to be tied back for participation at the aerial park)
- Bring a backpack (for storing swimsuit, towel, lunch, etc.)
- Wear a swimsuit under clothes or bring one to change into (girls one-piece or tankini; boys trunks)
- Bring a towel
- Bring a lunch
- Wear sunscreen
- Bring medications/EpiPen
- Leave electronics (Nintendo Switch, iPad, AirPods, smartwatches, etc. Please do not bring valuable items you don’t want lost, stolen, or damaged. The church is not responsible for lost or damaged items.)

8:30 am - Arrive at church
9 am - Charter bus leaves church parking lot
11 am - Arrive at Frankenmuth Aerial Park
1:30 pm - Leave for Bavarian Blast Waterpark
8 pm - Leave Bavarian Blast Waterpark for church
10 pm - Arrive at church
