Divorcecare Divorcecare

Find hope and healing after divorce.

Divorce is one of the most painful and stressful experiences to go through. It’s a confusing and isolating time. You probably have lots of questions about issues you’ve never faced before. Don’t go through it alone!

What is DivorceCare?

DivorceCare is a support group for those who've experienced divorce or separation. DivorceCare is the number one divorce recovery program in the world, and they use a video seminar series to guide people on a path of healing after divorce. The 13-week video curriculum features some of the nation's foremost Christian experts on divorce and recovery topics as seen from a biblical perspective. The videos are combined with support group discussion. Video topics include deep hurt, anger, grief & depression, financial & legal issues, and more.

What can I expect?

When everything feels chaotic, DivorceCare's structured approach helps bring stability. Each meeting is built around three main parts that work together to provide you with the most effective healing experience: video, group discussion, and participant book reflection that helps you with practical life application. The material is designed to help you manage the emotional turmoil surrounding divorce and give you practical tools for decision making.

Our group meets in person at Bedford Alliance Church (directions) in room S1, which is located in the front of our sanctuary. You can enter the building through the North Main doors. The cost of a workbook is $20, which will be collected at the first meeting. Each meeting is two hours (6-8 pm), and the summer session will begin Monday, May 5 and end on Monday, July 28. Register for DivorceCare to begin your healing journey.
