Money is a leading cause of stress and one of the top contributors to divorce in America. Many people are either consumed with spending money, leading to debt, or consumed with hoarding money, leading to obsession.

Jesus warned us that money would be our biggest competitor for God’s place in our hearts. And it’s easy to see that He was right. We make career decisions based on earnings rather than what God called us to do. We spend or save money before giving a tithe back to God as He told us to do.
