Forgiveness

Forgiveness

Forgiveness is how we move on from the past. Forgiveness is a choice we must make to move forward, even when everything in us wants to hurt the person who hurt us. Choosing to forgive is choosing to let God heal us and set things right.

Forgiveness is what God offers us through Jesus Christ. Jesus died so that we can be forgiven for every bad thing we have done or will ever do. And He’s told us to do the same with others.

Forgiving someone doesn’t mean you haven’t experienced hurt. The pain you feel is real and shouldn’t be ignored. Forgiveness doesn’t change what happened in the past, but it can help you change your future. Holding on to hurt can cause it to grow into bitterness and resentment.

If you’re struggling to forgive someone who hurt you or struggling to forgive yourself, reach out to learn about the power of forgiveness God offers to everyone.
