Ron Blair
Elder
Terms Served: 13
Ron previously served as an elder at Bedford Alliance for 12 years. After a short break, Ron has agreed to serve as an elder again. This election will be his 13th term served. Ron is a previous employee of Bedford Alliance as our building and grounds maintenance operator. He is now retired and enjoys woodworking projects. Ron and his wife Donna enjoy spending time with family, especially their grandkids.
Ken Breitner
Governing Board Member-At-Large
Terms Served: 8
Ken has served as a Governing Board member-at-large for the past 7 years. This will be his 8th term on the board. He is married to Regina and together they raise beef cattle and manage their rental properties.
Josh Dyer
Elder
Terms Served: 18
Josh is a CPA and works for the Monroe County Intermediate School District as the Assistant Superintendent for Business. He graduated from Liberty University with his master’s in Business Administration and Mount Vernon Nazerene University with his undergraduate degree in Accounting. Josh and his wife, Emily, have three sons: Evan, Eli, and Brandt, and have been attending Bedford Alliance since 2000. Josh has been an elder for 17 years with this being his 18th term served.
Seth Huff
Governing Board Secretary
Terms Served: 3
Seth and his wife, Heather, have been attending Bedford Alliance since 2018. They have a son, Liam, and a daughter, Charlie. Seth has been serving on the worship team for several years. He is originally from Monroe, and after graduating from Monroe High School, Seth attended Lee University in Cleveland, TN where he earned a degree in chemistry with Bible and music minors. Seth spent several years as a member of the Christian band Sanctus Real, and now works as a Commercial Director at Larodan, a specialty/research chemicals company based in Stockholm, Sweden. He has been on the board for 2 years with this being his 3rd term served.
Steve Loudenslager
Elder
Terms Served: 3
Steve has been attending Bedford Alliance since 2018 and serves on our Production Team. He works at Newell Brands as a System Analyst, supporting Newell Distribution Centers around the globe. Steve and his wife Emily have two sons, Miles and Maddox. Steve has been an elder for the past 2 years with this being his 3rd term served.
Charles McDowell
Governing Board Treasurer
Terms Served: 3
Charles (Chuck) McDowell has been attending Bedford Alliance Church since 2014. He and his wife, Linda, have been married for almost 48 years. They are both retired and enjoy leisurely time together traveling in the U.S. Before retiring, Chuck served as the President of Wessels Company in Detroit, which later became McDowell Tanks, Inc. Chuck also serves on our Safety and Security Team and helps in our Recovery Ministry. Chuck has been on the board for the past 2 years with this being his 3rd term served.
Ron Mundy
Elder & Nominating Committee
Terms Served: 4
Ron and his wife Mary have been attending Bedford Alliance for over 9 years. Ron serves on the worship team. Ron and Mary have three children, Mike (our Executive Pastor), Nicole, and Nathan, who also serve on the Worship and Production Teams. Ron works for M&R Ready Mix as a truck driver. They love spending time with family and enjoy camping in the summer. Ron has been an elder for 3 years and this will be his 4th term serving.
Nathan Nusbaum

Nathan and his wife, Stephanie, have attended Bedford Alliance since 2011. Nathan and Stephanie have three daughters: Corianna, Arilyn, and Everleigh. Nathan has been part of our Governing Board for the past 7 years with this being his 8th term served.
Bill Orth
Elder & Nominating Committee

Bill has served as an elder for 16 years, with several of those years serving as the Head Elder. He is retired from Jeep. He and his wife Sue enjoy spending time with their grandkids and have attended Bedford Alliance for over 20 years. This will be his 17th term served as an elder.
Jay Philbeck
Elder
Terms Served: 3
Jay, his wife Brooke, and daughters Jayda and Jasmine began attending Bedford Alliance in 2015 after moving back to Michigan. Brooke serves as a greeter on our First Impressions Team and Jay plays guitar on the Worship Team. Jay works with his brothers running several small businesses, focusing on the construction industry. Jay has been an elder for the past 2 years with this being his 3rd term served.
Kristin Schmitt
Governing Board Member-At-Large
Terms Served: 2
Kristin has been attending Bedford Alliance since 2019 and serves on the worship team. She and her husband Chad have three kids, Alex, Jameson, and Annie. In 2020, Kristin completed her degree in Leadership and Ministry. Last year was Kristin's 1st year on the board, and this will be her 2nd term served.
