BAC Recovery

Food Service Team: Our Food Service Team draws visitors to BACR through a free meal. The volunteers cook food at home and deliver it to the church on Wednesdays by 5 pm. Volunteers can also help prep and serve the meal and help with clean up.

Dessert Team: Our Dessert Team bakes cookies or bars at home and delivers them to the church by 3 pm on Wednesdays. Bakers are paired up to relieve the burden of baking for large numbers.

Childcare Team: Our Childcare Team supports parents in their recovery by providing safe and loving care for children, ages infants through 5th grade. Volunteers arrive before 6:30 pm and stay until all kids are picked up, around 8:30 pm. (Volunteers must be 16 years or older.)

Set Up/Clean Up Team: The Set Up/Clean Up Team frees the ministry volunteers to focus on the needs of the Recovery participants. Opportunities include setting up tables and chairs by Wednesday at 5 pm, and wiping down the tables and putting them away after BACR ends. Resource carts and other items may also need set up for the night.

Production Team: The Production Team creates an inviting atmosphere by prepping and running videos, lights, and sound for the General Session that meets from 5:30-7:30 pm each Wednesday. We use Propresenter, a computer program that organizes music videos, slides, etc that are used during the worship and teaching time.
