National Day Of Prayer

Date / Time

Thursday, May 1

Sign-Up

The National Day of Prayer is designated as a time of unified public prayer for our nation. It was enacted by the U.S. Congress and is held on the first Thursday of May where people are encouraged to lift up our nation in prayer.

This year, we’re asking you to help us cover the entire day in prayer! We’ve created 30-minute prayer time slots you can sign up for so that for a full 24-hours, prayers are continuously being uplifted for our country, leaders, and community.

You can pray no matter where you are. Whether you want to pray from home, during a break at work, or with your family, we encourage you to register for a time slot and help us stand united in prayer! After you sign up for a time slot, you’ll receive an email with a prayer guide from the National Day of Prayer Task Force. The prayer guide will include the 2025 National Prayer as well as seven centers of influence in our nation to pray for. Sign up today to be part of something bigger because when God’s people pray, change happens!

If no time slots are available or no time that works for your schedule, please still join us in prayer! You can download the National Day of Prayer Guide here.

No, this isn’t an event that takes place at the church. Sign up for a time slot that works for your schedule and pray wherever you are! Maybe you’re a teacher who has a free period and you want to use that time to pray. Maybe you work nights and can take a 3 am slot and pray at work. Maybe you’re a stay-at-home mom and you want to pray early in the morning before the kids wake up. Maybe you want to pray in the evening together as a family. If the weather is nice, maybe you want to pray on a walk around your neighborhood. Do whatever fits your schedule!
Of course! We encourage you to invite others to join you in prayer during your time slot, whether it’s your spouse, family, co-workers, friends, or other church members.
After you sign up for a time slot, you’ll receive an email with the National Day of Prayer Guide, or you can view it using the link above. The guide will include the 2025 National Prayer, written by the National Day of Prayer Task Force, plus seven spheres of influence in our nation to pray for, which include government, military, media, business, education, church, and family.
