Upcoming 5th-9th graders for the 2024/25 school year are invited to a Frankenmuth Day Trip! We’ll take a motorcoach to Frankenmuth, MI where our first stop will include Frankenmuth Village. We will visit some of the shops in Frankenmuth, such as candy stores, general stores, and more. We ask that your students please bring a packed lunch. We’ll have coolers to store the lunches until it’s time to eat.

In the afternoon, we’ll head to Frankenmuth Aerial Park. An aerial park is a combination of ladders, bridges, climbing elements, and zip lines through acres of woods. The students will climb from platform to platform through different courses and then zip line to the next set of elements. Parents/guardians will need to sign a separate waiver for the aerial park, which you will receive as a link in the confirmation email. The aerial park also requires participants to wear athletic closed-toe shoes (sneakers) and hair below the chin must be tied back.

After the aerial park, we’ll head to Zehnder’s Splash Village Indoor Waterpark. Pizza will be provided for dinner at Zehnder’s. Splash Village features several fun water activities including super loop body slide, activity pool with water geysers, water basketball and volleyball, action river, and more! Students should pack a swimsuit for the waterpark. Towels are provided by Splash Village.

We’ll meet in the church parking lot at 8 am on Thursday, June 27 and leave by 8:15 am. We should arrive back at the church by 10:30 pm. The cost for the Day Trip is $50 per student. We’ll be providing t-shirts on the morning of the trip that we ask your students to wear during the day. Don’t miss this awesome one-day adventure!

What to Bring:

• Comfortable clothes that are fitted (no skirts are allowed at the aerial park)
• Church provided t-shirt (this will be provided the morning of the trip)
• Athletic closed-toe shoes (required for participation at the aerial park; heels, flip flops, sandals, crocs, etc. are not permitted on the ropes courses)
• Hat/sunglasses
• Hair tie (long hair below chin-length is required to be tied back for participation at the aerial park)
• Backpack (for storing swimsuit, purchases, lunch, etc.)
• Swimsuit (girls one-piece or tankini; boys trunks)
• Towel (optional: Splash Village will provide towels)
• Sunscreen
• Money for snacks, arcade, shopping
• Medication/EpiPen

Please do not bring valuable items you don’t want lost or stolen. The church is not responsible for lost items.
