Depression

Depression

Depression affects millions of people of all ages, races, and walks of life. Being a Christian doesn’t exempt you from suffering from depression – the book of Psalms proves that.

Depression can be debilitating. It is more than usual mood fluctuations or emotional responses to life. If left untreated, depression can become a serious health condition and lead to thoughts of suicide.

But God gives us a way through. We can find hope through Jesus Christ. We can find help through our church family. We can find healing through prayer, treatment, and medicine. No one gets through depression alone. Consider making an appointment with a counselor or medical professional. There is a way out of depression.
