Junior High Summer Schedule

Starting Sunday, June 16, junior high students (those who've just completed grades 6-8 for the 2023/24 school year) will meet Sunday mornings at 11 am in the Church Connect Room. The time will include games, teaching, and discussion.

Throughout the summer, the junior high will be covering important faith basics through two different series. One series is titled, “How Do I Read the Bible?” In this series, students will learn about the overall storyline of the Bible, why we should trust the Bible, how God speaks to us through the Bible, why the Bible is still relevant, and how to connect to God through the Bible.

The second series is titled, “Everyday,” and through this series, students will learn about growing their faith through four faith skills: connecting with God, listening to God, talking to God, and worshiping God.

Senior High Summer Schedule

Senior high students (those who've just completed grades 9-12 for the 2023/24 school year) will meet in Small Groups for the summer. The senior high girls will meet on Mondays at 7 pm at the church house next door. Please park or pick-up/drop-off in the north church parking lot and use the sidewalk to walk to the house back door. The senior high guys will meet on Wednesdays at 7 pm at the church in the Connect Room. Students can enter the building on the south side (library side) through the doors labeled South Door B, which is the door students normally use on a Sunday night.

In Small Groups, the senior high will go through our new Equip video curriculum created by Pastor Luke. Students will receive booklets with notes that allow them to follow along with the videos. They'll learn why we've created Equip, how to read the Bible, how to pray, get an overview of the Bible, timeline of the Bible, and then dive into specific Old Testament books.

After week two, which is when students will learn about how to read the Bible and a Bible journaling method, students will be encouraged to do regular devotions and share one of their journals at Small Group. Equip is not only designed to help you build a solid biblical foundation, but it's also designed to help you discover, name, and create a plan to live out your God-given calling. We're so excited to see how Equip will help students grow in their faith, get into the Word, and learn more about their own personal God-given calling!
